Over the past couple of months, we have laid out the case that the liberal leftists in America are falsely propagating a so-called “war on women” by Christians. The basis for their claim is due to the opposition by most Christian organization to the new regulations that force all institutions, including those that are run by churches, to provide all forms of contraception to women through their insurance plan or face a heavy penalty. Of course, many Christian churches oppose most types of birth control on the basis that it is really nothing more than abortion of a conceived baby.
We have spent time discussing Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, and how she was a self-proclaimed and proud eugenicist who sought the termination of the black race and, of course, the poor and degenerate “weeds” in society. I showed you, using Margaret’s own words, how she wanted to use the birth control pill as a way to control population and have a government-controlled method of permitting only certain qualified citizens to reproduce.
The opposition by Christians is also founded in the fact that many of Margaret Sangers plans for eugenics through birth control are still funded by the federal government through taxpayer money. Yes, let me say it again––the government of the United States is funding, by the hundreds of millions of dollars, Sanger’s dream of population cleansing through birth control and abortion.
Enough is enough! I will not stand by and be accused of waging a war on women, and neither should you!
Christians do not hate women; we love children. Psalm 127:3-5 says, “Behold, children are a gift of the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; they will not be ashamed when they speak with their enemies in the gate.”
Christians do not view humans as a bunch of cells; rather we are created by God. Genesis 1:27-28 tells us, “God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. God blessed them; and God said to them, ‘Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it….’”
Christians value human life in all cases. Leviticus 19:14-15 teaches, “You shall not curse a deaf man, nor place a stumbling block before the blind, but you shall revere your God; I am the Lord. You shall do no injustice in judgment; you shall not be partial to the poor nor defer to the great, but you are to judge your neighbor fairly.”
Christians see value in every person, including the poor. Psalm 113:7-9 says, “He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap, to make them sit with princes, with the princes of His people. He makes the barren woman abide in the house as a joyful mother of children. Praise the Lord!”
Christians value innocent life and desire to multiply and fill the earth. Genesis 9:6-7 states, “Whoever sheds man’s blood, by man his blood shall be shed, for in the image of God
He made man. As for you, be fruitful and multiply; populate the earth abundantly and multiply in it.”
I want to challenge you to be bold in your protection of the unborn. Do not stand by idly and let others control the argument in our country.
If you stand firm and voice your opposition to the free, government-promoted distribution of birth control and abortion, you may be accused of being against women. Don’t let their accusations affect your belief in God nor discourage you from continuing to defend this false accusation. Make them explain why they are for the destruction of innocent life in such mass quantity. Ask them why they support the abortion of females at a much higher rate than males. Sometimes the best defense is a good offense.
Based on the facts, I think it is accurate to say that those who accuse Christians of waging a war on women are actively participating in a “War on Children.” Stand up and be counted; innocent children are at stake!
