Murphy beds & panel beds
Murphy beds made in Clearwater — for Sarasota homes.
Custom wall beds with a lifetime mechanism warranty and white-glove install. See them in Sarasota, Lakewood Ranch, or Venice before you buy.
Built in Clearwater
Every bed and mechanism is made in our Florida factory — not imported, not drop-shipped.
Lifetime mechanism
The lift system is covered for as long as you own the bed, with local service.
White-glove install
Our crew delivers, anchors the frame to the structure, calibrates, and leaves it ready to use.
Try it first
Open and close the bed in a showroom. Pictures never tell the whole story.
A guest room when you need it. A living room when you don’t.
More Space Place has built Murphy beds on Florida’s Suncoast for more than 30 years. You work with a designer, see a free 3D rendering, then we manufacture the bed in Clearwater and install it in your home. Twin through king. Vertical, horizontal, bookcase, panel, and sofa combinations.
Styles you can see in the showroom
Bookcase, panel, sofa, and office combinations.
A real mattress. Not a sofa-bed slab.
Sofa beds usually hide a 4-5 inch pad over a bar. Our Murphy beds take a full-thickness mattress — typically 8-12 inches — so guests sleep like they would in a real bedroom. Memory foam and latex work especially well. Test mattresses in the showroom.

What does the lifetime warranty cover?
The lift mechanism, for as long as you own the bed under normal residential use. Local Florida service.
How long is installation?
Most standard installations take 4 to 6 hours, including delivery, anchoring, calibration, and cleanup.
