{"id":6144,"date":"2018-02-27T11:09:24","date_gmt":"2018-02-27T17:09:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tampaseo.expert\/focus\/?p=6144"},"modified":"2018-02-27T11:09:24","modified_gmt":"2018-02-27T17:09:24","slug":"taking-role-older-woman","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tampaseo.expert\/focus\/2018\/02\/27\/taking-role-older-woman\/","title":{"rendered":"Taking on the Role of an Older Woman!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>By Sandi Cook<\/strong><br \/>\nI am officially taking on the role of an older woman in this note.\u00a0Believe it or not, I am okay with that.\u00a0Titus\u00a02:3\u00a0commands the older women to teach the younger.\u00a0I understand that I have no parental experience with teenagers\u00a0myself.\u00a0I pray often about the days when I\u00a0do.\u00a0However, from my work\u00a0as a nurse of ten years, I have an abundance of experience.\u00a0<span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559731&quot;:720,&quot;335559738&quot;:120,&quot;335559739&quot;:120,&quot;335559740&quot;:360}\">\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\nThrough my years as\u00a0a nurse,\u00a0I have seen many young girls become mothers.\u00a0Some of these girls were as young as 13.\u00a0I have sat in clinic rooms on numerous occasions and said these words to a young girl, \u201cThe test was positive.\u00a0You are pregnant.\u201d Or,\u00a0\u201cThe test was positive.\u00a0You have chlamydia.\u201d\u00a0\u201cThe test was positive.\u00a0You have herpes\u00a0and there is no cure.\u201d I have cried with girls as we discuss how they are going to tell their parents.\u00a0I have listened as girls sob about the \u201cguy who broke\u00a0my\u00a0heart.\u201d\u00a0I have cried with girls as we discuss their futures.\u00a0I have prayed with young girls when it seemed like there was no hope.\u00a0There is\u00a0a way\u00a0you can ensure that this does not happen to you.\u00a0It is called prevention, and I am not talking about condoms or birth control pills.\u00a0<span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559731&quot;:720,&quot;335559738&quot;:120,&quot;335559739&quot;:120,&quot;335559740&quot;:360}\">\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\nGirls, the time has come for you to take a stand against immodesty.\u00a0It\u00a0is time to cover up your body. Consider this.\u00a0How many pregnancies, STDs, and broken hearts would have been prevented if modesty\u00a0had\u00a0factored into the equation?\u00a0I want you to understand that the mind of a male differs from the female mind.\u00a0Males are very visual.\u00a0What you may see as an innocent article of clothing or an innocent touch may be interpreted totally different by him.\u00a0When I was in my dating years,\u00a0my mom told me numerous times, \u201cSandi,\u00a0if\u00a0you will stay in your place, he will stay in his.\u201d What does this mean? If you will act right, he will too.\u00a0This starts before your date even arrives at your house.\u00a0It starts when you pick out your attire.\u00a0Cover up your body!\u00a0Give this young man a chance.\u00a0How can you expect him to respect you if you are not covered up?\u00a0Wear tops that do not show cleavage.\u00a0Wear tops that cover\u00a0your waistline\u00a0even when you raise your arms.\u00a0Wear tops that fit around your underarms to prevent sneak peeks. For dresses, shorts,\u00a0or\u00a0skirts:\u00a0if you bend over and your\u00a0bottom\u00a0shows, it is too short.\u00a0If you are constantly pulling at your shorts, they are too short.\u00a0Bermuda shorts are an excellent option.\u00a0Not only are they in style,\u00a0but\u00a0they are a longer version of shorts.\u00a0(I know you are thinking that I am really\u00a0old by now\u2013\u2013way over 30, right?)<span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559731&quot;:720,&quot;335559738&quot;:120,&quot;335559739&quot;:120,&quot;335559740&quot;:360}\">\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\nDid you know that your body does not belong to you? 1 Corinthians\u00a06:19\u00a0tells\u00a0us that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit.\u00a0We are told in verse 20 to honor God with our bodies.\u00a0The Bible tells us that sex is meant for the marital relationship.\u00a0Save your virginity for your future husband.\u00a0Don\u2019t you want him to do the same thing for you?\u00a0Can you imagine the love story you will be creating if you save sex for your honeymoon?
