The idea behind it was that reliable and cheap birth control would decrease abortions and pregnancies outside of marriage.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Statistically speaking abortions increased dramatically (with the passage of Roe v. Wade). Out-of-wedlock births have gone up every single year since this time. In fact, more than 40% of of babies born in the United States now go home to just one parent.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>So the reality is, birth control did the opposite of what it was promised to do. Truly think about that for a moment.<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">What the birth control pill did was not decrease abortions and pregnancies outside of marriage. Instead what it really did was increase sexual encounters and disposable relationships that would have never happened without it.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>It has made marriage a &#8220;choice&#8221; that many men are unwilling to commit to.<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Many people have heard the expression, &#8220;Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?&#8221; Sadly we have a lot of young men today who are seeking free milk&#8230;and we have &#8220;cows&#8221; who are okay with that.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Christians, we need to change the worldview of our children!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On June 23, 1960, the FDA approved the sale of Enovid for use as an oral contraceptive.
