During this time of quarantine and social distancing we want to encourage everyone to take the added down time to grow in their walk with God. We especially hope that families will take up the practice of daily devotions, if they haven’t been doing them previously. In order to help with this, we’re sharing a page out of our devotional book, iGrow, each day. They can be used for either family or personal devotions. Day 19: Matthew 10

– Take one minute to meditate on the words of Romans 8:1: “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”

– Devote four minutes to reading Matthew 10

– Take three minutes to think through the following questions

  1. Does it cost to follow Jesus? What are some of the costs involved in following Jesus?
  2. How can this chapter help you make a difference in the lives of others?
  3. What thoughts would be going through your mind if you would have been one of Jesus’ disciples?

– Spend three minutes answering the following questions

  1. List one way this chapter will help you build a stronger relationship with Jesus.
  2. Write down one question or observation you have over Matthew 10.
  3. What are you doing to fulfill the command given by Jesus in verse 32.
  4. Write down one action step you will take in your life based on your reading today. I will…
