On February 6th, Focus Press held its first Benefit Dinner in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and it was an overwhelming success. Given that this was the first time we had ever done this, we were not sure what to expect. We were blessed with the presence of almost 100 individuals who braved the bad weather to come hear about all of the exciting things Focus Press has planned for the coming year.
Thanks to the support raised during the Benefit Dinner we will have the financial resources to:
- Help print Jack Wilkie’s new book, “Church Reset”
- Get our Bible study booklet translated and published in Spanish
- Partially fund the new Convicted Jr. book
The main goal of the dinner was to share what Focus Press has accomplished and what we have planned for the future so that we can be a resource to more congregations. You can help in this effort by being an ambassador of Focus Press and sharing our mission and our services with people and congregations you know.
To help you do that, please share this link with others that details many of the things we are involved in: focuspress.org/focus-press-ambassadors/
Another way you can help as an ambassador is to spread the word about our weekend seminars with your congregation and any congregations you have a relationship with who might be interested in hosting a weekend seminar. Simply share this link that includes details on how to schedule a weekend seminar and answers many of the questions people have: focuspress.org/about/how-do-i-schedule-a-seminar/
Your support is important to produce additional Christian resources. As you are planning your charitable support, I hope you will consider including Focus Press in your future giving. You can see how your support makes a difference and make an online donation any time at focuspress.org/donate/benefit/.
We thank you for your interest and support of the work at Focus Press. We look forward to sharing more good news with you regarding the growth of Focus Press, and as always, please continue to keep the work and the staff of Focus Press in your prayers.
In Christian Love,
Brad Harrub, Ph.D.
